Our Senior Management
Group Managing Director, Eddie Tobin is a well-respected entrepreneur within Scottish business. He has operated his own Security and Cleaning companies for over 10 years in addition to having 30 years of operational experience in the licensed trade. He has held senior management positions with organisations such as Scottish and Newcastle Breweries, Stakis plc and Carnegies Leisure. He left to establish his own organisations – Security Scotland Ltd and Cleaning Scotland Ltd in 2005. Both have proved great successes with turnover increasing year on year and never having lost a client through bad service.
Eddie is a member of various trade advisory bodies including Strathclyde Crimestoppers, Glasgow Licensing Forum and many more. In his early years he has managed a number of high profile venues such as the Apollo in Glasgow as well as managing various Football players, Billy Connelly, Midge Ure, Nazareth and the Sensational Alex Harvey Band.
Managing Director, James began working in the licensed trade security industry at the age of 18. Working at various well known venues and having many roles and responsibilities along the way, James developed a client / customer bond and understanding. Having this ideology of a providing a bespoke client centred service of their requirements that also provides cost effectiveness and competitiveness in the local Security Industry.
James main responsibility is to forge strong client relationships internally and external to the company through excellent front-line “personal touch” service delivery. And this approach is cascaded through the operations team.
Director, Mark began working at shopping centre related security industry at an early age. Mark’s main responsibility is to forge strong client relationships through excellent front-line “personal touch” service delivery.
And this approach is cascaded through the operations team. Having this ideology of a bespoke client requirement centred service that provides cost effectiveness and competitiveness in the local Security Industry.
Operations Director, Chris Callaghan has been involved in the leisure & security industry for over 20 years. Chris has unparalleled experience of delivering “best in class” event security & safety services, from music festivals, stadia and worldwide events such as Commonwealth Games 2014 and also the Ryder Cup 2014, where he was the Silver Security Commander.
Chris holds the NVQ Level 4 Spectator Safety Management qualification and has been Head of Security based in event control room’s for numerous events & stadia control room’s for over 150 fixtures which included taking the lead in delivering the 1st SPL Police Free football fixture at Motherwell v Inverness Caley Thistle in January 2011.
Operations Manager, Fabio has been working with Security Scotland for over 6 years and has risen through the ranks to support our Events Division. His work ethic, attention to detail and close working relationships with clients derive from his past experiences in hospitality and military service. He has a passion for events and is currently working towards achieving a MSc degree in International Security & Risk Management and a Level 4 in Spectator Safety Management.
Fabio currently holds qualifications in NEBOSH, Degree in Security Management and Consulting, Trainer qualifications for First Aid, Conflict Management, Safe Restraint Techniques, Physical Intervention, Security Screening and various other industry qualifications. He also has a well deserved recognition of a MSyl title from the Security Institute – an international Chartered organisation for Security Professionals based on validation of his experience, training, qualifications and other contributions to the industry.
