#LookUpLookOut How to Help Prevent Sweet Robbery Due to an increase in street robbery, the Metropolitan Police Service in London are working to prevent crime in hotspot areas. While this initiative is taking place in London the principles and changes can be applied to areas across the UK. As security operatives are often working in these areas they are best placed to educate the public and help prevent street robbery. Having received training to work in the industry, licensed operatives will be aware of many of the steps that can be taken to prevent street robbery. Still, as a reminder, here are recommendations to make to the public: 🚨 Stay aware of your surroundings and pay attention to who’s around you. 🚨Keep valuables such as mobile phones, watches and cash out of sight. 🚨Plan your route home. 🚨Look confident You are less likely to be targeted if you look confident. Move with purpose and try to
