World Environment Day

As today is World Environment Day, we want to highlight the importance of sustainability.

At Security Scotland Ltd we play our part in being ECO by doing the following:

We are a member of the ECO Stars Fleet Recognition Scheme, which is a scheme that aims to help fleet operators improve efficiency, reduce fuel consumption & emissions.

We use Highlander Security Shredding , Scotland’s largest independent paper recycling company who recycle 100% of our shredded paper which then gets sent to UK mills to be repulped and made into new paper and tissue products.

We encourage reusable bottles use and provide water stations where possible instead of bottled water to reduce single use plastic.

We are members of Business Energy Scotland, which supports businesses in supporting going green and tackling climate change.

We encourage staff to carpool when working events and put on transport where possible to try and cut down our carbon footprint.
