September employee of the month

Congratulations to our September Employee of the Month, Robert Sharp. Robert works nightshift at lots of our Local Testing sites across Fife and the East of Scotland.  Once the event season is in full swing Robert is a regular security officer ensuring the build and break of event sites are fully secured providing our clients with reassurance and secure asset management.  Well Done, Robert!!

August employee of the month

Congratulations to our August Employee of the Month, Warren Barot. Warren joined the company as a safety steward and initially worked at many of our sporting client’s stadia.  Looking to expand his role within the industry Warren was selected by the management team to undertake SIA training to expand his opportunities. After successful completing the SIA Door Supervisor training Warrens diverse nature and work ethic enables him to now work for a variety of our clients from prestigious events such as the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship to our well established manned guarding clients as well as remaining involved with our events division. Security Scotland’s Events Division

Security Scotland’s Events Division are delighted to be awarded the contract for this year’s Alfred Dunhill Links Championship. The Alfred Dunhill Links Championship is one of the richest golf tournaments on the European Tour. It is played in September, on three different links courses, centred on the "home of golf", St Andrews in Fife, Scotland. The tournament is played to a pro-am Team format, with each team consisting of one amateur and one professional. The three course rotation consists of The Old Course at St Andrews, Carnoustie Golf Links and Kingsbarns Golf Links. To increase interest in the event, many of the amateurs are well known personalities from the worlds of sport and entertainment. These have included Ian Botham, Boris Becker, Michael Douglas, Samuel L. Jackson, Michael Vaughan, Matthew Pinsent, Hugh Grant, Justin Timberlake, Michael Phelps and Shane Warne. Pride of Scotland Awards 2021

Security Scotland were delighted to be recently working alongside our colleagues at Pace Prestige Services Ltd (PPS), at this year’s Pride of Scotland Awards 2021 at Hopetoun House on the outskirts of Edinburgh. The Daily Record Pride of Scotland Awards, in partnership with TSB, celebrate Scots who are transforming the lives of the people around them. Nominated by the public, the winners were from all walks of life, of all ages, and from all over the country. Their awe-inspiring achievements were celebrated at the star-studded event hosted by Kirsty Gallagher and Nicky Campbell and included a host of celebrities from the music, sports, film and reality TV world. Our staff were deployed in all the key areas which included red carpet, backstage and artist routes as well as assisting with the guest arrival traffic management. We worked closely with the PPS Management to ensure a seamless operation was delivered throughout the evening.
