Transgender Awareness Week is a week when transgender people and their allies take action to bring attention to the community by educating the public about who transgender people are, sharing stories and experiences, and advancing advocacy around the issues of prejudice, discrimination, and violence that affect members of the community. Inverness Fireworks Display

Security Scotland were delighted to provide the crowd management and security services to Inverness Fireworks Display on Saturday 5th November. Over 10,000 people attended the display in Bught Park and were fortunate enough to enjoy the display in perfect weather conditions. Our professional and friendly team ensured everyone in attendance had a safe and enjoyable night providing strategically positioned staff at the key areas that included the bonfire area, firework exclusion zone, display viewing area, funfair and as well as the various car parks. Also, a special thanks to our friends at Highland Security Ltd for their assistance on the night.

SIA fraudulent SIA Licences statement

The SIA have provided a statement about fraudulent SIA Licences: "We recently ran an investigation operation supported by the National Counter Terrorism Security Office ( NaCTSO) to help event organisers and licensed premises understand how best to vet and assess SIA licence holders hired to protect sites. The success of the operation and our investigations meant that nearly 50 licences were seized. Our licence holders have an important job to identify potential threats to public safety, including terrorism. Therefore, due diligence must be undertaken to ensure staff are suitable to take on this role." Security Scotland are delighted to be shortlisted as a finalist as “Event Supplier of the Year” at the 19th National Outdoor Events Association Awards 2022, following the event’s largest ever entry levels. Security Scotland’s Summer of Music Festivals

This summer has been one of Security Scotland’s busiest and most exciting summers to date, and a large contributing factor to this was our contracts with some of the best and most popular music festivals that Scotland has to offer.
