Congratulations to our December Employee of the Month Mark Merriner

Mark started with Security Scotland Ltd during the Alfred Dunhill Cup last year. Since joining the company in October, he was quickly appointed to the role as Head of Security at TopGolf in Glasgow .

Mark has shown professionalism from day one. The consistent feedback from our new client, where Mark was appointed for, has been excellent, singling out Mark as a fantastic modern example, and exactly what their high expectations were for a venue Head of Security.

Both Mark’s personal and professional standards are impeccable, noting his personal visibility within the unit, supporting his work colleagues during operational hours. The mentoring skills he has utilized within the unit with any less experienced team members has been extremely appreciated and welcomed by our client. 

As well as being operationally proficient, Mark takes the upmost pride in all the other aspects of his Security lead role with excellent standards of administrative duties of timesheets, incident reports, venue activity reports and also the venue inductions for training new team members. 

As a fairly recent addition to the Security Scotland team, with responsibilities for a senior position, he has proven to be a complete asset to us – we are proud to have him as part of the team!
