Style Mile

Security Scotland were thrilled to be apart of the 2023 Style Mile Christmas Carnival and it did not disappoint! Massive puppets, elves, dancers, musicians, and visual arts performers were just some of the excitement that descended on the city throughout the afternoon. Huge crowds cheered as they followed the acts which were spread throughout the streets, the free fun and entertainment was on offer for people of all ages as part of Glasgow Loves Christmas. Christmas shoppers were treated to the festive magic and greeted by various characters including a massive Father Christmas and his companion Rudolph the red-nosed reindeer. Director Mark Thorburn commented “Working this fantastic family fun event this year and seeing all the staff getting involved with the acts and public throughout the event, relying on their expertise was great, and receiving amazing client feedback was what all the staff involved truly deserve, well done to the team!”

TopGolf Glasgow

We are delighted to announce we have been awarded the contract to provide the security services at Topgolf in Glasgow. Visitors to the new golfing entertainment complex will now be welcomed by our friendly, engaging and customer focused security team who will be very visible, providing a safe and positive environment at the hugely popular venue. The client feedback we have received so far has been excellent, the Player Safety & Security Manager, Joe Jennow commented “the service we have received from Security Scotland since taking over the contract in October has been excellent in all aspects, from customer service to integration with the Topgolf team. Security Scotland turns 18

Throwback Thursday At the beginning of November, we celebrated eighteen years of Security Scotland Ltd. On 2nd November 2005, the brand was born, a name was chosen, a colour was decided, a logo was created, and a mission statement was written! SSL where development is encouraged, where everyone is vitally important and where everyone is encouraged to be unique. Throughout the journey there have been many laughs, some tears and an abundance of hard work. Working all hours of the day and night where most unsung heroes remain unseen. We are extremely thankful to have 18 years full of memories with all past and present colleagues who have walked through the door and help shape Security Scotland Ltd for what it is today.  A massive thanks to all the Owners, Management and staff at Ross’s Bar and AXM Nightclub for hosting the party/afterparty and their very generous contribution to all in attendance.
